The final puzzle requires you to enter map coordinates (latitude and longitude) over at Mapquest, to discover Part 1 of the final answer.

(Use the upper portion with degrees, minutes, and seconds.)

To obtain the coordinates, you must first solve the following:

Latitude

We started you out on Day 1 Level 1 (D1L1) with six movie posters. The poster on the top left corner was about a famous musician.

How old was this person when he died? This number is your latitude degrees.

In the calendar puzzle (D1L2), you had to identify a classic horror film.
Take the number of letters in the fictitious camp depicted in this film (two words) and add it to the number of letters in the last name of the film's original director.

This new number is your latitude minutes.

D2L3 asked you to figure out the name of a popular Halloween game. According to Wikipedia, Ashrita Furman holds the world record for this game. How many

did he do in one minute? This number is your latitude seconds.

Longitude

To obtain your longitude degrees, follow these directions carefully:

In the mental_floss Search bar at the top of this page, type the words "Sweet Talk", followed by the second murdered candy bar from D2L2.

Click on the first Search result and use the blog post to fill in the missing numbers:

... was invented in [ A ] and was sold for a nickel.

... weren’t invented until [ B ].

... was the sponsor of the Howdy Doody Show from [ C ] - [ D ].

... company received [ E ] anonymous letters

Take [ A ] and subtract from it [ B ].
Now subtract [ C ] from [ D ], and multiply it by the previous operation.
Finally, subtract [ E ] from the last step to find your longitude degrees.

Your D4L3 puzzle involved a pumpkin patch.

One of the Jacks was described by the clue "He's also a Good man?" - this Jack had a long-running radio/television program.
In what year did Marilyn Monroe make her only appearance on this program? The last two digits of the year are your longitude minutes.

On the D3L3 challenge, we asked you to name six songs.

The last of the six comes from an album released in 1981.

How many tracks were recorded for this album, including B-side singles not released on the album itself?

This number is your longitude seconds.

When you have all your coordinates, plug them into the Mapquest tool.

Zoom in and you should find yourself in a small town that begins with the letter S and ends with the letter E.

Enter the name of the name of the town to move on to the final question of Day 5.
