The final puzzle requires you to enter map coordinates (latitude and longitude) over at Mapquest, to discover Part 1 of the final answer.
(Use the upper portion with degrees, minutes, and seconds.)
To obtain the coordinates, you must first solve the following:
In the Day 3, Level 2 (D3L2) puzzle, you had to place tiles into the grid to form the names of famous French people.
The person in Line #12 composed a famous Requiem. In what year was it first performed?
The last two digits of this year are your Latitude Degrees.
In the D2L2 puzzle, you had to assemble flying puzzle pieces to form six images of brands.
One of the completed images can relate to a popular film. According to boxofficemojo.com, what was the production budget of this film (in millions)? This number is your Latitude Minutes.
The seconds are on the house this month for both Lat and Long: 0. (We expect a thank you on our FB page! ;-)
In the D4L2 puzzle, you watched a fun video clue made by Sister Salad.
You may remember the Sisters from a previous collaboration we had with them.
Find the very first video of the first set of four they worked on that week over on their YouTube page and note the post date.
Express the date like this mm/dd/yy. Now remove the two numbers that denote the day, as well as all the zeroes. You should be left with a two-digit number. Expressed as a negative number, this is your Longitude Degrees.
In the D1L2 puzzle, you had to play matchmaker to nine coded couples.
Using the same letter substitutions as the puzzle, what three-word song title should appear on the blue heart piece that has the translation shown below?
This song was number one on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 for eight weeks.
According to the Wikipedia entry on this song, what was its Peak Position on the Finnish Singles Chart? This number is your Longitude Minutes.
When you have all your coordinates, plug them into the Mapquest tool.
Zoom in a bit and you should be near a town in V-irginia whose name has two Vs in it..
Enter the name of the town to move on to the final question of Day 5.
