HOW DID YOU KNOW? - Rules and Regulations

Once a month, Motionbox Neatorama and Mental Floss present a 5-day trivia hunt called How Did You Know?

Starting on the last Tuesday of the month, we present four challenges, one per day.

The final puzzle is presented the following Monday at 8 pm ET, which gives you the weekend to work on any missing pieces to the previous four days' challenges.

The first person to e-mail in all the correct answers to all of the challenges and the final puzzle, including ALL of the questions presented in the final puzzle, is named the winner and gets

his/her pick of any t-shirt from our store.

A random winner is also named per month. To qualify for the motionbox/Roku movie player, you only need to submit answers within 24 hours of the final puzzle post (day 5). Right or wrong, so long as you have answers to every

challenge, you still qualify.

Neatorama is also giving away a daily prize to the person who wins the Day.

Each evening, at 8pm ET, we’ll be putting up a challenge loosely based on the day’s previous two challenges.

You won’t need to solve the first two to solve the third, but knowing the day’s theme might help you be the first to crack Level 3.

Regardless, the first person to solve the 8pm ET puzzle and leave the answer on the appropriate neatorama post that we specify, wins the Day!

To better your chances at being the first, may we suggest that you go register to leave a comment on neatorama now.

Though their site doesn’t insist that you register to leave comments, being logged into their site at 8pm will again give you a slight edge if you’re planning on trying to win the Day.

Winner gets: any item from their store valued at $25 or less. The item must be in stock and you can't redeem the cash value of the item. Also, if you're item is only

valued at $19, you can't use the remaining $6 toward another purchase. However, shipping is on neatorama!
