If you’re anything like us, the “Cocktail Glass,” “Tropical Drink,” and “Shaved Ice” emojis are regulars in your phone’s frequently used section. With World Emoji Day approaching (yes, it’s a thing) on July 17, it’s time to start planning your celebration cocktails accordingly.

The folks over at Cachaça 51 are here to help. They asked mixologist Matthew Houlihan to create three recipes based on the tantalizing beverage and flavored ice emojis, which you can see for yourself below. And yes, those images above are actual beverages.

Yellow Lily (Martini Emoji)
2 1/4 oz Cachaça 51
3/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse
Olive for garnish
Combine ingredients in a glass and stir with ice until cocktail is chilled well. Strain into a coupe cocktail glass. Garnish with an olive.

Pearl Diver (Tropical Drink Emoji)
2 oz Cachaça 51
1/2 oz orange juice
1 oz passion fruit juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Lime for garnish
Pour grenadine to the bottom of a hurricane glass and fill with crushed ice. Combine Cachaça 51, orange juice, and passion fruit juice into a shaker and shake lightly. Pour over ice. Garnish with lime wedge.

Bitter Coat (shaved ice emoji)
2 oz Cachaça 51
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz Aperol
Combine Cachaça 51, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker and shake lightly. Pour into glass and add crushed ice. Float Aperol on top.

You’ll have to get the right stemware and flatware to fully appreciate the colorful concoctions IRL, but after one or two, pretty much any container will do. [Insert “Face With Stuck-Out Tongue and Winking Eye” here.]
