I visited the daily coyote blog, and the cute factor is definitely up there! Charlie is such a precious and beautiful creature, its nice to see someone so willing to give up so much of herself to take care of him and love him.

i'm not a writer, but i did once help raise wild animals. when i was about 10 at big storm blew through (texas) during school, after school i was playing when i found a bird's nest that had fallen probably 20-30 feet out of a tree. the nest was being investigated by ants, and one baby bird was already dead. just as i was debating what to do, my mom came home and we rescued the 2 survivors. they were still balls of skin with their eyes closed. we (mostly my mom) fed them and watched them grow. they turned out to be mocking birds. when it was time for them to learn to fly, we took them to a bird sanctuary to learn to fly and fend for themselves. a few months later we went back to watch their release into the wild.
