Probably one of the greatest shows on television ever. Really if you haven't seen it, rush out and watch. It is quite an accurate description of how the drug trade interacts with various parts of citylife (the police, the dealers, the schools, the junkies, the politicians). It is also particularly unique in that it rarely offers the typical good guys win - bad guys lose happy ending in its storylines. Like real life, oftentimes the bad guys win and the system is corrupt, but there are enough small victories so as not to completely lose hope.

It is indeed the best show on television. It stinks that the final season will only be 10 episodes, however.
