I think the picture for the Supperbus is just a concept design. i can't imagine seeing that design as a viable mode of public transportation due to regulations concerning egress, ease of mobility, and structural integrity. This bus obviously passed regulations and still managed to stretch itself.

I thought the most obvious would be the Segway. While it's true they're in production, all the investment dollars and hype can't change the fact of what a disappointment it is.

Am I the only one who thinks the Daihatsu Trek is cool as hell? More suspension, bigger tires, and the ability to float would be awesome.

Whether they work or not, da Vinci deserves credit for the sheer innovation represented by his drawings. Who else in his time could have conceived of an artificial heart valve or a robot?

You can see for yourself whether his inventions work at an exhibit coming to the Houston Museum of Natural Science in March. It will have life-size built-out models of his drawings that you can experiment on.

About the AMFIBIDIVER:

As part of this team I can assure that
Renes health problems were just short term and that the project wasn't actually shelved. We made of few dive trips with it in Spain, so it really works. In fact it wasn't our goal to make it commercial as we only wanted to prove that it's possible to make a vehicle like this.
Now it's one the exhibits of the Land, Air and Sea Museum of Doug Hilton in Kent (UK). Check it out at www.landairandsea.com.

We're already working hard on a new, unique waterproject...which will be revealed in a few months.

You can see Fuller's Dymaxion House in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. It looks like a big flying saucer landed. Kind of hangs on a central mast that extends through the center to ground. The museum should get one of the cars to park next to it.
