Reporter Joshua Topolsky at This is My Next decided to ask the new iPhone’s voice assistant some unusual questions. While my favorite is the (creepily helpful) response to Topolsky’s statement “I need to hide a body,” I thought I’d show you the response offered by a smartphone regarding the meaning of life. Adams and the Pythons would be proud:

  4. And the first question I’ll ask Siri is, “Siri, what is best in life?” If she responds with, “To crush your enemies, see them driven out before you, and hear the lamentations of their women,” I will be REALLY impressed (and also a bit freaked out).

  5. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Apple coders have been causing Autocorrect bloopers on purpose for some time now. There’s just no other practical explanation for some of their suggestions other than “those geeks are f***ing with me!”

  6. Uhhh…seems that the telephone is offering an answer to the question: “How do I live a good life?” or “What are the keys to having a happy life?” – more than the MEANING of life – doncha’ think?

    You are clearly undereducated.
    Now, go fetch, lend, rent, buy, illegally download, “borrow” from your older brother or in any other way possible get the film “Meaning of life” by Monty Python.
    Watch it to the end, and then you’ll understand why the phone is answering like that.
    Also, you should wear a hat more often.
