The only commercial I remember is Zach the lego maniac. And I remember really hating him for some reason, although looking at this commercial I really don’t know why…maybe because they overplayed it like crazy.

I don’t remember Croonchy stars but I remember from the late 80s Nintendo cereal…anyone remember that? I still remember some of the jingle “Nintendo, (something) breakfast now, Nintendo, it’s a cereal, WOW! Nintendo, (something something) jump, nintendo, with a fruit-flavored crunch!”

All I had to see were the words “Lego Maniac” and that horrible jingle came into my head. I vaguely remember being jealous of Zach — he had such a cool room.

And I remember Croonchy Stars. Never bought them, but I remember the ad.

Does no one else remember Fruit Wheats Cereal? It was a wheat outside with a fruit paste inside that was advertised as a â€œhipâ€ cereal. â€œFruit Wheats, the In cereal-Fruit Wheats woaaaaaaaah-Strawberry, Apple or Raisen-Fruit Wheats the in Cerealâ€

I remember all of the toy commercials, plus the McDonald’s commercial. I’m thinking that some of these ran past 1987, since that’s the year I was born, so there’s no way that I could remember them from that year.

Also, I used to think that the Lego Maniac kid really had Legos for fingers.

Oh, and no way does that guy look like Mark Harmon! He has the same haircut and his smile is kind of similar, but that’s where the similarities stop, in my opinion.

I honestly think that Jim Carrey is the Rondald Mcdonald in that commercial. Take a listen…I swear it sounds just like him.
