This brings up the question “if a missing link is poured from a cup, and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?”
I think it doeesn’t go clink if it’s the missing link because it’s missing.

When my brother was living in Wyoming we went to a brothel that had been converted into a bookstore- it worked wonderfully, the “little rooms” each housed their own genre- but it was strange to think about what must have gone on in those rooms before the conversion…
