  1. My husband is addicted to W00T. He bought Zunes for himself, me, and his brother there, all for like $85 each.

  2. W00t-offs are even more addictive!

  3. Nitpick: Apple’s been around a lot longer than 24 years. 1984 was the year the Macintosh was introduced.

  4. You are right, Loomis. I corrected this elsewhere, but forgot I had it here, too. I’ll get that fixed.

  5. I don’t know about most of the money-saving sites, but I will say that retailmenot.com is AMAZING. I’ve literally saved hundreds of dollars on shopping using that site (especially around the holidays) because there are so many coupon codes. On one $300 online order, I saved $40 AND got free next-day shipping.

The only trouble is that some online stores have figured out what’s going on, and have requested to have their coupons removed.

  6. Miss C: How come the last link in your cup of links is ALWAYS a Mental Floss article?

  7. derek, it’s because we have a lot of good articles that were published back when we didn’t have this many regular visitors. And it keeps my lists from being too short!
