The Pepsi commercial is a riff off an old Deaf joke:
A man and his new wife arrive at the hotel after their wedding. The man realizes he forgot something in the car and goes back for it. When he starts to go back inside, he realizes he’s forgotten which room is his, so he honks his horn. Everybody in the hotel turns their lights on except his Deaf wife, showing the man where his room is.
MAN that joke is better in ASL than in English!

Harry Morgan is best known (in these parts) as the Mayor in “Support Your Local Sheriff” and “Support Your Local Gunfighter” with James Garner and Jack Elam (the most beloved man in the West) and an all-star cast.

More successful Western farce than Blazing Saddles, believe it or not.

Through the tech-directory, I found a site called dontclick.it, which is practically worthy of a blog post devoted to itself. It’s such an odd feeling, not being able to click anything and still beeing able to do things with your mouse.

i really like that super bowl ad. Its good to see big companies reaching for diversity in their business. Made me laugh, too.

A couple of other updates on the M*A*S*H crowd:

* You can currently see Jamie Farr at the Las Vegas Hitlon ( http://www.lvhilton.com/info/090607ugs.shtml ), where he’s finally hosting a game show, along with Bob Eubanks and Chuck Woolery.

* As mentioned in the article, Mike Farrell is an activist. He was recently on TV talking about his interest in the “Free Mumia” movement. When asked about the book “Murdered by Mumia”, written by the widow of one of Mumia Abu-Jamal’s victims, Mike Farrell stated that he’d read it if he ever got around to it. Obviously he’s a highly prejudiced and biased activist.

Well, Miss, I always enjoy your column yet today you out did yourself. I loved the commercial, I see Dems always had sex and Reps are money hungry, and I have the first season of M*A*S*H on DVD ( I consider it the best). Bravo and looking forward to more. Thank you.
