Colin Perkins
Morgan Freeman Shilling for Listerine
by Colin Perkins - January 16, 2012 - 6:45 PM

Last night at the Golden Globes, Morgan Freeman received the Cecil B. DeMille award in recognition of his long acting career, which has included amazing films like The Shawshank Redemption, Glory, Unforgiven, The Dark Knight, and Driving Miss Daisy.

During the big tribute to him they somehow managed to leave out all mention of his great work in this Listerine commercial. Probably just an honest oversight:

  1. this needs to be a regular feature!

  2. And they wforgot to mention his stirring “Dracula” character on the PBS Electric Company!

  3. @BryanJensen No they didn’t! They had a creepy clip of him bathing in a tub as Dracula. awkward.

  4. Stars who started out in (bad) commercials could be a weekly feature. Another classic is Jason Alexander in the 80s doing a McDonalds commercial for the McDLT.

  5. I really do adore Morgan Freeman. And I found that commercial hilarious.
