I was just reading about the paleontologists Cope and Marsh. Cope's full name is Edward Drinker Cope and Marsh's name is Othniel Charles Marsh. No wonder people refer to them by their last names!

My friend's mom is named Terry Berry.

Since I go by Julie, and my last name starts with T, people tend to read those together as Juliet.

But my favorite strange names come from a friend's family, the Bent's. Their youngest is Maria Lexus Bent, and their oldest is Mercedes Bent.
