cowabduction.com seemed pretty cool until i noticed that it is a viral advertising attempt by the California Milk Processor Board (who also own the "Got Milk" trademark). not so much people putting a lot of time into a faux cause as an advertising campaign set up to look that way.

A few of those inside-out teddy bears are actually cute, but most are just plain creepy. Teddy bears aren't meant to be inside out. It's just...wrong.

-Went Geocaching at the park today.
-Still too young to write memoirs.

I did a "six word stories" post on my blog a few years ago, after Utne reprinted a piece on the topic that originally appeared in Black Book. It's by far the most popular blog post I've ever written, with dozens of commenters leaving their own efforts over the span of several years. It even drew the attention of spambots, which saw so many comments being left that their algorithms indicated it would be a good place to leave spam linking to dubious purveyors of pharmaceuticals. I got so many spams in such a short period of time that I finally had to close the comments function on that post.

Given that I'm graduating from college this semester, I came up with this biography: "Born and educated, to be continued." Kind of lame, I know, but it suits where I am in life right now.

This is the kind of thing that freaks me out to no end. All day yesterday I was inexplicably trying to remember the name of Archie Bunker's grandson. I remembered only that the last name began with an S. [Cue Twilight Zone theme...]
