HELP Im involved in a trivia contest of “one hit wonders” and there was a one hit wonder, intrumental, not sure if its the 80′s or 90′s that the intro was a japanese intrument, like a harp then went into guitar music!! My only clue was “CHOW” Does ANYONE have ANY idea what the name of the song and artist is?? Thanks :O)

Remember that Free sold millions of albums and had three years of success. I think if Paul Kossoff didn’t become a drug addict and the band stayed together, those Bad Company hits could’ve easily been Free hits. Oh well.

And if I’m not mistaken, Rick Derringer had a hit with”Hang On Sloopy” when he was with The McCoys. And I’m pretty sure Gary Numan’s “Are Friends Electric” was a number one hit – at least I played it in numerous cover bands.

As an added note, Paul Rogers, of Free, also did well with Bad Company and The Firm, as well as a short stint with Queen. So, he is not a OHW.
