I was an art major and LOVE the impressionists….Mary Cassat is one of my favorite American painters but I have never heard of Handerson and this reminds me a little of Cassatt style — the innocent girls/women…really beautiful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful artist.

Thanks for the links to the big images. BTW. This painting really stood out in my memory. I remember being mesmerized by it in the Freer Gallery a number of years ago.
