Minneapolis represent! Good to see Al's Breakfast on there. I've been going there since I was about 4 or so. I highly recommend the blackberry pancakes and the smokey cheese omelet. My dad won't drink the coffee there because it makes him jittery--but that's how I like it best!

When I googled Tdave I didn't expect so many. The only ones that are me are the Mentalfloss comments and a few adfreak posts when I used Tdave there.

You know, for the life of me, I cannot get a result when I google myself. I've even TRIED pretty hard. I have a myspace. I have a facebook. I'm actually pretty careful about what I put on them, because I know there's someone with better search skills than my own. But at this point, I'm irked. I even put myself on wink.com to see if I came up anywhere. Apparently I'm just not that popular. Ah well, story of my life. And I'm ok with that. :)

Shame, shame, The Guardian...

I don't think Jimmy Kimmel's response to Sarah Silverman's video was as funny, except for the fact that Kimmel got Josh Groban to take part. How awesome was that?

This list is not complete without the Breakfast Club on Tybee Island, GA. How good is it? They were caterers at JFK Jr.'s wedding.

I can definetly say that the breakfast at Hominy Grille is the best! Even on hot Sundays when you have to wait for 45 min outside (all the space inside is taken up with tables). Although I think that that their peach cornbread pancakes give the shrimp n grits a run for their money.

Okay, I checked my google reputation and I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm very, very pleased to report that one of the things that came up was a reference in the comments of a mental_floss post!

I remember when Cafe Des Amis opened in a defunct storefront across the street from St. Bernard's, my catholic school for K-8. Less than a mile up the road on East Bridge Street was the house I grew up in.

I don't know that I've ever eaten there, though! Considering how much I love breakfast, that's a shame.

Man oh man! Cafe Des Amis will knock your socks off. Be sure to check out the walls; they're decorated with graffiti by celebrities (Dan Akroyd, John Goodman and more) and people from far off places. Don't pull out your sharpie though, management decides who gets to write on the walls.
