Abandoned Buildings have held my interest since I was a wee Lad and whilee these DO POSE THEIR OWN DANGERS, they're as well fun to explore WITHOUT vandalizing.
The L.G.H.S. (Louisville Ghost Hunters Society) did 2 Investigations of Waverly Hospital resulting in amazing finds as well as 1 or 2 of the group vowing to NEVER RETURN.
There are sections of the Hospital as part of Tours that are CLOSED OFF to the general Public because of enhanced Paranormal Activity Levels because of some people with dodgy Hearts.

I would love to visit Waverly and do a Tour yet I live in NC and such travel is unlikely if ever.

Thank you for your time.

Yes, that is an OR with an antiquated C-Arm; a mobile x-ray unit used to take images during surgery, mainly for orthopedic surgery but also for cholangiograms.

I think the most fascinating thing about abandoned buildings is that unlike completely preserved, closed-off historic sites, they're so...human. You can get a feel for who was there--that's probably why they get a rap for being haunted.
