as for the guys in the iraqi band acrassicauda - while they are safe in turkey, they are pretty much running out of money and options. it would be a shame to see them break up and return to baghdad after all they&#039;ve been through.

		<description>Great post. I love hearing about how genre-specific music has evolved in obscure areas. I know Malaysia a scene for lots of heavier genres of music (there was a great Oi! band called Hoodlum from Malaysia and I&#039;ve heard some of their hardcore punk bands from the 80s that is at least as good as their US counterparts), but I didn&#039;t know how hard those kids had it.</description>
