  1. Is the government still using the “saving energy” pretense for Daylight Savings Time? I think they’ve started skipping that and jumping to the more honest reason: they want us to spend more money and businesses think we’re more likely to do that if there are more hours of sunlight when we get off work. That’s why the only support for this insane lengthening of DST came from retail businesses.
