		<description>The Gary Gygax story is really cool.  I&#039;ve never actually played tabletop D&amp;D, although I did once place a Milton Bradley kiddy version called HeroQuest (anyone remember that?).  Reading this made me want to give it a try though.

A personal connection: my mom is a licensed optician in Ohio, and for years she worked with the father of James Dallas Egbert III.  He&#039;s a doctor of optometry, and has probably retired by now.</description>
