After testing your knowledge of the ACC, Big Ten and SEC, let’s turn our attention to the Big 12 Conference.
Take the quiz: Name the Big 12 in 1 Minute
Next up: The Ivies (Saturday).
Who cares? Name all the actors in the Dirty Dozen.

Come on! Can we get off of sports please?

Yay! 42 seconds. I’ve been waiting for this one. :)
I, for one, am enjoying this little conference series. It isn’t replacing the lunchtime quiz, and it’s a fun minute for us college sports junkies.
And, Go Big Red!

For the gentlman above:
Telly Savalas
Charles Bronson
Jim Brown
Earnest Borgnine
Lee Marvin
John Cassavetes
Donald Sutherland
Robert Ryan
Clint Walker
Richard Jaeckel
Ralph Meeker
Trini Lopez
George Kennedy was the general, and I don’t know who all played the Germans (you didn’t ask for the actors playing the Dozen specifically, you said all the actors).
For the lady above, how about the five mother sauces of French cuisine:
Hollandaise
Bechamel
Veloute
Espagnole
Tomato
Or pehaps the Seven Deadly Sins
Pride
Gluttony
Wrath
Lust
Envy
Greed (Avarice)
Sloth
Maybe the Eightfold Noble Path is more your speed:
right view
right intent
right speech
right action
right livelihood
right effort
right mindfulness
right concentration
I LIKE the conference quizzes, and it’s the beginning of March Madness. Cut them some slack. I’d like to see the Missouri Valley represented before it’s said and done, or maybe a monster quiz with all the men’s (or women’s) NCAA tournament winners.
Keep up the good work.

37 seconds! Would have done better if I could type properly.
No PAC-10 quiz tomorrow? Gotta at least get the five major conferences in! Would be unfair to leave out the left coasters.

Yes, got it done in less than a minute! This is a good mental exercise. Why the hate for sports? If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Make up your own. I think that you don’t look at the glass as being half empty, you look at is as being broken.
