  1. 100% Easier than I expected. I guess I just had to slow down and think about the answers, then everything sort of fell into place. The shapes at the top helped a lot – I would never have been able to conjure the shape of Utah in my head.

  2. I’ve never bothered to post my score on a quiz before, but I had to do this one. I was amazed that I remembered enough 8th grade geometry to get all 9 right!

  3. 100% – finally! First time I’ve done that (and not for lack of trying)!

  4. 9/9. This is the first quiz I’ve aced. To celebrate, I’m going to go eat lunch.

  5. 100% as well, though I must say my brain was tempted to put 5 next to Pentagon, 6 next to hexagon, etc. Chalk it up to a grade school flashback.

  6. 100% also! Not bad for this old English major.

  7. I got 7/9. But to be fair I was mostly guessing. I knew like 4 of them. So 4/9 should be my real number.

  8. 100% … was it OK to use the internet? Because I didnt get to use it when I was in the 8th grade…some 30 years ago.

  9. 100%, with bonus shame for knowing so many corporate logos off the top of my head.

  10. 100%. This is the first test I’ve scored perfect on, but apparently so has everyone else.

    So much for being special…

  11. 7/9 for me. Even though I should have got them all of right.

  12. woo hoo!! 9/9! i think i may have cheated though…i didnt know what some of the shapes were called so i used goodle to look up the shapes. but i knew what their matches were once i knew what they looked like!

  13. Trust me, Florida, that’s a good score. I just checked, and the quiz has an average score of 69 percent, with 1000 plays thus far.

People are just more apt to comment to a quiz that they just aced… like you!

  14. aced it…

  15. The shapes at the top definitely helped. I would have had no idea what the Orkin logo looked like. 9/9!

  16. 9/9. But, as a Geometry teacher, I feel compelled to note that the Orkin logo looks the most like what we call a rhombus (an quadrilateral with four congruent sides). I’ve never heard the term “lozenge” used for this shape. Inneresting! And I love the latin name for the Venn diagram (the MasterCard logo). I may throw that out during class one day.

  17. Yikes, I’m almost embarrassed to say mine – 4/9.

    I’m not surprised though – I failed geometry…twice.

  18. 100%, but the shapes at the top certainly helped. I wouldn’t have remembered the Orkin logo without them.

  19. I’m so ashamed… 5/9. Looks like I need to go back to school and learn my shapes!

  20. Tiffany: “I wouldn’t have remembered the Orkin logo without them.”

At least you have heard of them! Makes it rather difficult for us Brits when there are several companies that are not international enough to be known outside the US.

  21. Aced it. but I am in geometry now so…..
