8 out of 8. Sadly, I often leave the family at home to shop alone at midnight, spending hours and hours going up and down the aisles, freaking out the employees, and enjoying blissful solitude. And obviously spending way too much time in the pasta aisle.

It’s a lot easier when you know what the words mean in Italian – orecchiette are little ears; farfalle stems from the word for butterflies. Gamelli is latinate for twins, and the pasta shape is two tubes twisted together. Yay Italians! I love you and your cuisine!
