My sister's best friend had the opportunity to go with a group from Utah State University to Uganda where they installed solar panels and dug a well at an orphanage/school. Her experience was a little different in that they asked her to make a documentary about it. I made it into the 2007 edition for reading out loud in a team marathon event. It doesn't sound that bad until you realize that you can't leave the site, so I was stuck in a bookstore for 5 days sleeping in a tent when I wasn't reading!
