I didn’t read through all of the comments, so forgive me if I’m not the first to point this out: the puns in option (b) were used by Garrison Kellior in an episode of Prairie Home Companion from about six months ago. Also, I’ve got gastroenteritis and, brother, it is THE SHIT! (seriously, i do. arrgh, my lower intestine!)
