I'm not saying global warming isn't real. But, I'm in Portland,OR-- we had Cherry Blossoms, fruit trees blooming, and daffodils-- and a small snow blizzard this morning. Either way-- strange weather indeed.

I beg to differ on the issue of the signs of spring showing up early in the West. The state of Washington has been hit with snowstorms for almost a week now. This morning, we (in Spokane, WA) woke up to 2-3 inches.

Some nice links today. Regarding the 10 most inaccurate films of all time: While I agree (up until the last one) with these films as historical travesties, they sort of miss the point on some of them. Like, not only are the Maya horribly misrepresented in Apocalypto, they were already long gone when the Spanish arrive during the Aztec period. Ah well. And the list should be "9 Most..." 2001 isn't historical drama. It's science fiction. It might have a place on a "speculative films that missed the mark" list, but even then that's not the point. Silly Yahoo!, write better lists.
