Like Kara and Maranie, Sara was never seen through the magic mirror, but that never stopped me from hoping either. Romper Room, Capt. Kangaroo, Electric Company were among my first TV memories. But no one mentioned Picture Pages, which is what I remember the most. And now I've song bombed myself with the theme.

Yeah, Wonderama...
I was on it once when I was 9. The first kid chosen won the snake cans. Denied the rest of us a chance at winning a Ross Apollo bike! Bob McAllister, though, it always seemed to me like he really didn't like kids that much, like he gritted his teeth rather than smiled around all those little snot-nosed brats. But I have read much to the opposite, and that appeases me.

What, a _flossy blurb about The Electric Company with no mention of the Tom Lehrer tie-in? And I'll second @Leigh - bring on a post about Square One! (Click on my name for an XKCD comic about Mathnet!)

We need TV to bring back shows like the Muppet Show. My father bought the DVDs & I love how it catered to the adults. I miss the good old days...

I was already 13 when zoom came out, but after school, I'd go back to my bedroom and watch it and sing all the songs. I totally dug that show even though I was to embarrassed to tell any of my friends .
