From Josh Evans: Four years after a disappointing third-place finish in the 1988 Olympics, the United States sent the pros to Barcelona. The results were legendary and not at all close. The Dream Team, as they were known, sleep-dribbled to the Gold Medal, winning by an average of 48.3 points. Coach Chuck Daly didn’t use a single timeout. Sixteen years later, can you name the twelve players on the roster? Last names will do. You’ve got two minutes.
Take the Quiz: Name the 1992 Dream Team

From Jenny Brown: Today’s second quiz asks you to name the 12 countries that make up South America. This does not include French Guiana (a territory of France) or the Falkland Islands (or any British territories in the vicinity). You’ve got three minutes. Good luck!
Take the Quiz: Name the Countries of South America
Nailed the geography, capped out at 7 members of the dream team.

:47 for the countries. Really surprised I came up with Suriname.
I knew two of the basketball players. Of course, I was an eight-year-old girl at the time of those Olympics, and didn’t really care about basketball much.

It took me 31 seconds to name all the countries in South America.
As for the other quiz: we had an all pro Olympic basketball team in 1992?!?

Did Guyana and French Guiana merge and no one told me? I think then there are 13 countries in South America.
