That hedgehog was adorable, but have you seen the roly poly kitten? I am too lazy to go find it on youtube.com but it is linked on Neatorama – just search for “kitten” and it pops right up!

kudzu is everywhere in SC. I always heard that it was first introduced to counteract erosion. and i know that some people make jam out of the fruit (berries? flowers?). it aint up here on Long Island, tho i think id prefer kudzu to gazallions of cars

Roger, I live in one of those neighborhoods in Kentucky! Or I used to.. well, I still live in the same neighborhood, but I no longer have to battle kudzu since houses went up around me.

That’s a really interesting article on kudzu. I’ve seen it envelope entire neighborhoods here in Kentucky – it really takes off once it moves in. I honestly didn’t know it was edible; that might actually be an answer for world hunger. There’s an old joke that comes from the fact it was first introduced into some areas as cattle forage: a cow won’t eat kudzu, but kudzu will eat a cow.

I remember seeing the ‘brain’ mold somewhere….if anyone knows where please post.

Back in 5th grade open doors class, our teacher made us a realistic Jello brain. We ate it in front of the non-Open Doors students, who didn’t know it was Jello.
