Have you ever noticed how even some genuinely scary horror movies have some ridiculously campy taglines? Today’s quiz tests your tagline knowledge. Can you connect the wacky tagline to the scary movie?
Take the Quiz: Movie Taglines
Ummm…I couldn’t see a tagline for the one that was Last House on the Left and Texas Chain Saw.

Beth - sorry about that. It’s fixed now!

80%. I guess I’m more of a horror movie nerd than I thought. My husband would be so proud… or embarrassed… one of the two.

Only 3 out of 10, but that was fun!

ooo i did horribly. 40%… for the record, though, the tagline ony my F13 box says, “Fridays will never be the same again.” I guess they had more than one tagline?

7/10…not too bad considering the only movie in the quiz that I’ve seen is “Jaws” :-).

I got a 6/10, which I guess isn’t that bad. What upsets me is that I consider myself a bit of a horror movie critic, and I’ve never heard of Piranha, Liquid Death, The Stuff, or either of the doctor movies…

I got 9 out of 10! It’s not because I’ve seen all these movies (I’m a bit squeamish) but that when I was a little kid I liked sneaking into the horror section of the video store and looking at the movie covers. Dr. Giggles…so creepy! Thanks, this was a fun one!

Four out of ten. Curses!
Quick nitpick: There are several movies about Dr. Caligari, and only one is called “Dr. Caligari.” The others are “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,” as well as an unrelated film called “The Cabinet of Caligari.” Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page.
Oh, and I’d love to see a topic on great taglines. My personal favorite is for the 1970 Hal Ashby film “The Landlord,” which says “Watch the landlord get his” with a picture of two suspiciously close doorbells.
