I agree with Tami. I am not much on the music and sports blogs, although I know there are lots of people that like/love those. I like stuff like this. History, I guess.

Delaware, Ohio does have a few other Hayes memorials. Most local kids attend Rutherford B Hayes High School. We also have a neighborhood called Hayes Colony. All of the street names have something to do with Hayes for instance Birchard Ave, (his middle name), Congress Ct, and Presidential Ave.

Speaking of Hayes overseas, Rutherford’s son, Webb C. Hayes, traveled extensively overseas. He fought in the Spanish-American War, the Philippines War, the Boxer Rebellion, and observed much of the Russo-Japanese War. Webb collected tons of material from every excursion, which now graces the displays at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in Ohio.
