  1. Not fair! The videos for “Addicted to Love” and “Simply Irresistible” were so similar that they’re almost indistinguishable. (Ok, I’ll stop sniveling now and take my 80%)

  2. different coloured outfits on the girls, in 1 they are all in black, in the other, pink

  3. Yeah 9/10! I totoally guessed right on the Robert Palmer video. For some reason the song popped into my head so I took it as a sign and ran with it. This quiz was, like, totally tubular!

  4. 9/10, too! Missed the Run DMC one, but don’t care ‘cos I loathe hip hop, rap etc.

  5. 8/10! Not bad considering my dad had a rule that MTV could not be playing on a television in a room he was in. Also not bad considering I was born in 1981.

  6. 9/10! I missed the Cyndi Lauper look-alike. Is it “Papa Don’t Preach” where Cyndi looks all downtrodden as Pat Benatar deceivingly did in her video?

  7. FUN!
8/10, I too tripped on the Run DMC and Robert Palmer.
AH the good old days..I miss the real MTV!!!!! :(

  8. 70%. Not terrible. The RUN DMC got me too. I think they wore those shoes for their entire career! :)
