What about the expanded CFL in American cities? Memphis MadDogs, Shreveport Pirates, Birmingham Barracudas, Las Vegas Posse, Baltimore Stallions, Sacramento Goldminers and the San Antonio Texans only lasted for ONE season in 1995!

I know people will start screaming racism, but here’s what struck me. How telling is Mr. Smart’s explanation of his use of “He Hate Me”. He would use it when things weren’t going his way. In other words, when things weren’t going his way, he would scream prejudice. wow.

There still is a National Lacrosse League. I remember seeing advertisements for the Minnesota Swarm when I was attending college in the Twin Cities. According to Wikipedia there are 12 teams, including three in Canada.

The list could go on. The ABA, home of the red, white, and blue basketballs. The USFL, which launched several NFL careers.

Lastly, when I was a kid there was a professional lacrosse league – I only remember because 3 players from the Boston Bolts (fast as lightning!) lived at the end of my street.

While we’re at it, lets add the WNBA to the list in advance. Who watches that?
