Another question, how do you get the ‘gallstone of a hare’? Wander around hare habitats looking for one that has a gallstone and then wait for it to pass the gallstone?? I think Henry VIII just made these up to see his subjects running around like idiots trying to cure their ailments.

The grease of a fox is probably its rendered fat. And you never now: The story in my family is that, when my grandfather had pneumonia as an infant, the only thing that saved him was being rubbed all over with rendered skunk fat. (This was rural Indiana in the early 1920s, so hey.) I fail to see how the gallstone comes into play, though …

I’ve been on a big Tudor kick too but since watching Elizabeth: The Golden Age. I’m thinking about getting Showtime just to watch their show “The Tudors”. I’ll have to look into “The Other Boleyn Girl”
