I Have Peanuts the royal blue elephant beanie baby. I never even knew it was worth money til i got told the other day. Is that still in demand for keen collectors? i want to sell it.

I know a lady who has hundreds of beanie babies. For awhile she and her husband were redecorating their house so the beanie babies were strewn in various places. The next time we visited them, the beanie babies were still everywhere so I thought they were still redecorating. But nope, they were done.

And Becker, I’m not usually one to nitpick, but please, use a period or two!

I had a bunch of Beanie Babies during the craze, but I just got them because they were cute. I also had a zillion Pokemon cards during that craze. I played more than collected, but I did halve a book that gave prices for each card, and years later figured out that my collection was worth 300 circa the year 2000.

Back at the height of the craze, I was managing a collectibles store. We specialized in sports collectibles – cards, autographs, etc. For about a year, though, the front case in the store, the first thing that a customer would see upon walking through the door, was full of beanie babies. The most I ever sold one for was about $2500. Insanity.

Oh, and Becker? I just looked the McDonalds beanies up on eBay – you can get the whole collection for $10.

The height of the Beanie Babies idiocy was when McDonalds offer their first tie in: buy a hppy meal and get a Beanie inside. People were fighting in line and at the end of the day, garbage cans overflowed with discarded hamburgers and fries. No thought of all the homeless who could have enjoyed a meal—-just the acquistion of a Beanie.

I never understood the Beanie Babies craze… Who wants a room full of tiny stuffed animals? An ex-boyfriend gave me one once (a donkey I think?)… I guess he thought it was a big, romantic gesture… It definately did not work for me. I dont know where the thing ended up… Oh well

Well along with the beanie baby trend u all know that McDonald’s sold there share of them 2 but if u failed to research thats the McDonald’s line of beanie baby sets still sell for over a thousand dollar’s check it out and get back to me

I saw this coming during the whole rediculous craze. Cheap stuff (i.e. cards, stuffed animals, etc, etc) are at the end of the day, cheap stuff…
