Oh well, we continue to go to games and one day hope we'll see them win in our lifetimes... I've actually met people who truly believe there's a conspiracy within the NHL to make Toronto lose. Cubs fans were just trying to justify the reason for sucking for one hundred years. The funniest thing about their apparent "curse," which most Cubs fans don't know about (becuase they dont care about baseball, just partying at Wrigley field) or choose to ignore, is that it was placed on the Cubs almost 40 years after they last won the World Series (Cubs won in 1908 and the curse happened in 1945). So did they just suck for those 37 years before the curse. At least with the Red Sox's "curse of the bambino," that started right after he was traded to the yankees from the red sox. Or the White Sox could say they had a "curse of the black sox" becuase they didnt win a world series from after the sox tried to throw the world series in 1919.
