I think Emily Haines’ video for “Our Hell” is more haunting than the one for “Doctor Blind”. It still remains a simple video with only the use of light effects. Each character almost resembles a ghost like appearance. Definitely worth checking out.

the girl goes into a Zellers, not a Wal Mart… classic Canadian thrifty retail department store… it’s pretty much the same as wal mart… possibly slightly less evil, but quite similar.

The videos for the electronic music of Aphex Twin are consistently awesome. “Rubber Johnny” is one video. There’s also an amazing video for the song “Windowlicker.”

Why does everyone keep promoting “Pork and Beans?” It’s really not that good and it’s irritating to me to see genuinely good music videos be overshadowed by one that was obviously used solely as a marketing ploy for Weezer’s next substandard album.

I did enjoy the video the first time I watched it. I just don’t think it’s anywhere near the caliber of the other videos and I think you’re doing a disservice to your own list by including it.

These are great – but I can’t believe you didn’t mention Michel Gondry! His feature films are great, but he’s made a ton of amazing music videos! He directed videos for people from Bjork to Kanye West.
