Brain Game: Head Hoops

nba.jpgLiving in Michigan, I’m still smarting a bit from the Pistons’ recent loss to the Celtics in the NBA Eastern Finals. At the same time, I enjoy the nostalgia of a Celtics-Lakers championship series, as that brings back fond memories of the 1980s. And speaking of NBA teams, there’s one that has an amazing TEN syllables when you pronounce its location and team name. Can you recall it?

  4. Well, forgive me, Katie… I’ve done trivia for 15 years now and it’s sometimes tough to discern between “trivia” and “games.”

    I felt that this particular entry was as much of a word game as a trivia question.

  6. I got it! I know nothing about basketball, but thought Philadelphia, with its five syllables, might precede another 5-syllable word. I Googled it and lo and behold, it does. Rock!
