He went into the woods after an errant tee shot to find his ball confiscated by a pack of Hog Badgers who believed it to be an egg of some kind. Daly, never one to back down from a confrontation, managed to wrench his ball from the mother sow but not without a scrape from her vicious right paw. The whole affair cost him a stroke. Later at the clubhouse bar, Daly got in a wrestling match with Fuzzy Zoeller, after Zoeller slapped him on the back and called him "Chubs".
