Loved it! The rotory sander we got my dad a few years ago malfunctioned and practically sanded his thumb off! Since then we've stuck to marigolds, but with your inspiration, I'm gonna make a Kroger run for some Natty and a Yard-o-Beef Summer Sausage. (Yep, that's a real Hillshire Farms product.) Hit us with some articles soon!

Blood donation isn't very popular in a country where a sizeable portion of the population has thalassimia and/or malaria. Thailand is thus afflicted.

As for the captive animals, we usually go towards the more aquatic - fish, frogs and eels - as well as cows. The cows are because by freeing them, they can't be eaten and the giving of life is great merit (hence, the blood donation). Of course, they're taken care of. The fish etc. are usually released in temple waters, which are sacred - i.e. cannot be fished from.

You forgot to mention we also present garlands of flowers to our fathers. Garlands are a big part of almost all Thai holidays.
