I just never got this show. I was very young when it was on originally, so maybe that was it? I do remember watching a rerun with my aunt from the Jewish side of our family, and Archie used one of his "names" for Jewish folks. I had no idea what it meant, and it did give my aunt a good teaching/warning point for me. So I guess there's that. I don't know...I guess I think that there is a very fine line between parodying racism and just being racist. You know, I’m really glad to see this early review for All in the Family.
