There’s a little more to the Indianapolis Mayoral race, though. Bart Peterson was wildly unpopular with a wide variety of people. Not just the typical “We’re *this* party, so we hate people of *that* party”. To make matters worse, Ballard started campaigning almost immediately, and Peterson didn’t even start until two weeks before the election.
