I love Memphis! I first visited there back in 1994 when I took a cross-country trip from Maryland to Oklahoma. I loved Beale street and all the music everywhere. I made sure to stop at Memphis on every trip back/forth to Oklahoma since thern (and there were a few!)

Semi-related .. I stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando. Gorgeous place, same duck parade. Very cute!

We went by the Pink Palace to look, but were too tired to go inside. I hope next weekend is easier for you Amanda!

Hey, you were in my city. If you visited the Pink Palace Museum and your ticket seller seemed miserable and annoyed by every little thing, that was me!

This is great! I was just in Memphis last summer, and I didn’t quite know what the big deal with the ducks was–wish I had read this before we got there.

I also hope you took the kids to play in the to-scale replica of Mississippi River. That was my favorite place in the city :)
