A spin of the old wheel of fortune landed on “Word Ladder” for today, so here goes. Changing only one letter at a time (and leaving all other letters in their original positions), can you change the word FOOT into the word SHOE in only three steps?

  5. Well, yesterday’s was a head-scratcher, so I figured hump-day was the day to spring an easier one. It helps that both words share the “O” in the 3rd spot.

  9. No, she changed one only

    from Shot to Shoe reguires only the t change to an e.

    You changed SOOT to SHOP — requiring two letters to change O to H and T to P. Not allowed.
