Too bad you posted that Smithsonian link. Now I won’t get anything else done today!
I first read about it on mental floss, but if anyone likes the Smithsonian pictures, check out www dot shorpy dot com. It is a wonderful blog of old pictures, primarily from the Library of Congress archives. Great stuff.
And I’ll agree with the others, this is quite a good Miss C impersonation!
