My monitor is quite small and I have to lean in to see the grainier footage. That last shot made me squeak and flap my hands like an elderly bird.

I find the "Personal of the Day" people to be far creepier than any supposed ghost videos.

i watched the gnome video a few days before it became famous and it's actually quite a few minutes long. i think this version was edited to include the last few seconds because the rest of the video is shaky footage of a bunch of teenagers fooling around. anyway, even if it's fake, at least it's entertaining.

I just watched the same show Lauren is talking about and they also debunked the Vatican ghost. They had a video editor closely examine the film and you can see a pole being held by one of the people in the foreground. Apparently tourists will often tie a sweater or a jacket to the end of a long pole and hoist it up so that the members of their group can get back together after going their separate ways.

The blue ghost at the gas station was debunked. They featured it on some tv show with a bunch of other ghost videos. They dangled a bunch of plastic bugs over the lens to see if they'd get the same image, and sure enough a blue entity appeared every time. It was because of the type of surveillance camera the gas station was using.

On the same show, they also debunked one of my favorite ghost videos from Gettysburg, of a tree line with a group of soldiers walking into the woods. It's not gonna stop me from going there and taking my own pictures, though!!

Damn you, Science H. Logic.
