My husband and I have been keeping up with the Spore buzz for a couple years now (it seems like forever). The only problem I foresee is the battle over who will get to play, since he and I are notoriously bad at sharing. When The Sims 3 is out, though, he'll have Spore all to himself. Molyneux's Black and White had exponentially more hype, and look how that turned out. Not to mention the thousands of Youtube videos of Spore creatures that look like... well... gonads.
