These Simpsons quizzes by Ethan Trex were a big hit. If you’ve got an idea for a follow-up, leave us a comment. If we pick yours, you’ll get credit (obviously) and two (2) free mental_floss t-shirts of your choosing. Click on either banner to take that quiz.
I would love to see a quiz on the Treehouse of Horror episodes. Those are by far my favorite.

I’d like to see a quiz on songs from the Simpsons, like “Who needs the Quik-E Mart” and the monorail song.

how about pictures of the cartoons matched up with the ACTUAL real live bands that guest starred? or maybe a multiple choice quiz picking the plot of each band’s guest appearance. Like The Ramones and Burns’s Birthday/Bobo episode.

I think a celebrity cameo one would be good. Like which of these celebrities have done a cameo or inversely, which one of these have NOT done a cameo.
Also a voices quiz. Match the character to the voice artist. Or given 3 or 4 characters, pick the 2 voiced by the same person.

OR! the once- or twice-appearing characters and their famous voices … ex: picture of Hank Scorpion – line or two about the plot of the episode, and guess the actor who played him. Keifer Sutherland … Martin Sheen … Ed Norton … etc.

What about a quiz on the Simpson’s pets? The’ve had lots of them. Or a quiz on Grandpa Simpons.

I’d like a quiz where we name secondary characters. Like that country singer Homer helps out (Lurlene) or chief Wiggum’s officers, Fat Tony’s cronies, etc. A picture of their face would be helpful.

What about a quiz about the various jobs Homer (and Marge, too) have taken over the years? The power plant has a nasty habit of rehiring him, despite the fact that he often is fired for one reason or another. There’s the status quo for you, Principal Tazmarian.

A lot of Simpsons characters are based on real life people or other famous fictional characters. How about a quiz where you match them up?

A few ideas:
- Simpsons Guest Star or not? – Have a list of the famous and infamous and guess as to which was and wasn’t
- Simpsons Guest Star, Futurama Guest Star, or both? – Same logic as above. (Could also be expanded to Family Guy, King of the Hill, must I go on?)
- Several versions of the Simpsons theme have cropped up over the years (Green Day, NRBQ, Sonic Youth) – match the audio clip with the band perhaps?
- Plot or not? – List a series of plots from episodes of the Simpsons – some more ridiculous than others – was it a plot or just imagination?

Ideas…
- Have a character’s picture and give an A,B,C,D option as to which person voices said character.
Example: Show a picture of Apu and have different voice actors as options such as Azaria, Castellaneta, Shearer, etc.(It’s Hank Azaria).
- Matching catch phrases! Use the matching format that I’ve seen before on weekly quizes to match character’s trademark catch phrases.
Aye Carumba! — Bart
Ha-ha! — Nelson
Excellent… — Burns
etc, etc. I think this would be an entertaining one for people who aren’t too familiar with The Simpsons.

9/9 and 14/15 (arrrgh!)
I love the idea for a simpsons background character quiz (Frank Grimes, Database, Lester and Eliza, Leon Kompowsky, Richard Sakai, etc).

might be a bit late, but how about involving “Bart’s Prank Call Aliases”
